Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bobbi10 This product is awesome!
Ease of use, multiple features, lightweight, convenient, just absolutely perfect! Great salesman when I called to guide me through the product choices. He was incredibly helpful. I just love HP products. Have a long history of product ownership and will never settle for less.

I have had this tablet for 4 months mow, and love it. I rarely open my laptop anymore even though it is pretty new (primarily to find saved picks, music, or docs). I didn't want the Win RT tablets because I thought I would hate the Metro interface, but have found I spend 95% of my time in Metro. I ordered a Micro USB adapter from Amazon ($5 shipped) to allow connecting a thumb drive, phone, mouse, printer, etc. The flaws are the location of the ports, and the charger brick, and length of charger cable. The charging cable is 3 feet long, so you'll be using an extension cord most likely. The charger brick goes in to a "Safety Mode" if there is any sort of power surge, making you think the charger is broke, so to fix this, the charger has to be unplugged from the outlet for 10 mins to allow it to "Reset" itself. The ports are grouped close together at the bottom of the tablet (in landscape position). I have the HP case/stand and the micro USB adapter. The one I ordered turns left and prevents you from using this adapter while charging. A straight adapter prevents you from using the stand if its plugged in, and the charger also causes the tablet to sit funny while using the stand. I ordered a Bluetooth speaker, and keyboard to go with it. Both connect quickly when I turn them on, the Bluetooth on the tablet doesn't make a noticeable difference on the battery. I get through the day without having to attach the power cord. Wifi signal is great, battery life is great especially for the heavy use this thing gets. MS Office is a plus, and there are a few apps preinstalled that show off the tablets perks. The camera is great, the hdmi port mirrors my screen to my TV, allowing streaming of Netflix, Hulu, or your own videos. I have used my TV as a monitor with my Bluetooth keyboard, and mouse to give myself distance from the TV. The wireless printing works great, I really can't say enough good things about this tablet. With the minor flaw in the location of the ports, this is an excellent device for the price. I have less than $360 invested in this with the accessories I've purchased. The tablet is speedy, screen is great, sound is what you'd expect from a tablet, but really good with a Bluetooth speaker, the shortage of apps isn't a problem since you have a full Windows tablet you can always use the browser to get what your looking for. Why is HP keeping this thing a secret?

Rated 1 out of 5Â by djd1964 Dead after seven days.
I am afraid I had to call for a replacement this morning. I used it for four days and and it no longer turns on. Very sad.

I'm on my third after two replacements.
First one front facing camera did not work.
Second one had no wifi.
This one seems fine.
Not much volume out of speaker.
Charging cord too short, 3 ft.
If you buy charging stand, it does not come with a charger and the 3 ft. cord is too short to place the stand in many places. Also stand is not adjustable...only one angle. Tablet is supported on charging pin. If Tablet is tilted it will bend or break pin. Hard to align Tablet onto stand since it's using charging pin for support.
Case is not bad...But no third party cases.
Touch screen needs stylus.
Get a OTG adapter and you can use thumb drives.

I like the Omni 10 for the win 8.1.0 os. I previously had the Slate 7 but the Android operating sys. was not what I needed. I am on the go a lot so I purchased the Slate for that reason, but was limited to features I really like. The Slate 7 is nice for the size but not for my needs. HP let me up graded to Omni 10 and I am very satisfied except for not being able to charge off my computer like my phone. I also think the charger has too short of cord from the power adapter. You need to be real close to an outlet and that is why I would like the charging ability off my comp. I give the Omni 10 (8-9) but not a 10, but it did come with Office 2013 H&S!
PS, It would be nice if HP could send an extension to the charging cord or make it longer for consumers in the future?

Rated 4 out of 5Â by DeeLS I am very happy
I wanted a tablet that is a tablet/pc, at a reasonable price. After researching the Hybrids, Surface and HP, I chose the OMNI 10. It has Windows and Office 13. Every upgrade has improved OMNI 10 performance. My one complaint so far is that I can't find a keyboard case that is made for the OMNI 10 that works with windows. OMNI 10 is a great choice for the money.
