Customer ratings and reviews for HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Printer - H711a/H711g

Rated 2 out of 5 by so so Printer prints fine.....but..... bought this printer to airprint with my iPad. It works fine at home when I am on my network online. But when I travel and take the printer with me, it is not capable of working with my iPad because it needs to be on a router. Even when I take a router with me the problem is that when my ipad is online via cellular it can not also at the same time be on wifi to a router (that is not online). This printer should be able to connect to my ipad via wireless/bluetooth. March 16, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by not so hot Printer works fine, but it goes through ink like water and then holds you hostage and won't print anything until the cartridge is replaced. So if you need to print in black you're out of luck if you're low in yellow. February 5, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Uses up EXPENSIVE ink fas!!! I bought this printer mainly for black and white printing. It does this well. I particularly like that it prints faster than others that I have had. The quality of the printing is good, not laser jet good, but pretty good for a moderately priced home printer. A downside you should be aware of it that it uses up ink cartridges quickly and these can be expensive. Particularly if you plan to do a lot of color printing. Like I said I don't plan to do a lot of color printing but I did have a one time, large color printing job that depleted my color cartridges in less than 100 pages. Another quirk is that if you have depleted your color cartridges, the printer requires you to replace them before you print even just a black and white only document. This is incredibly frustrating feature for me since I mainly plan to use it for black and white printing. January 14, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Eats Ink This computer eats ink. Will not print B&W without full color cartridges. Set up is a pain. Scanner does not recognize my computer. I am done with HP products. December 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by I Love It !!! I use this Copier, Printer, Scanner, Fax on a daily basis. It is fast and the print quality is excellent. It is easy to use and computer Illiterate friendly. December 19, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by 6600 Don't waste your money. This printer will not print Black & White if any color cartridge is empty. Forces you to buy expensive ink. Better to spend a few extra dollars on a printer that can print with empty color catridges. December 11, 2012
