Customer ratings and reviews for HP LaserJet Pro 200 color Printer M251nw

Rated 5 out of 5 Great printer Printer set up a little hard for a router network printer it took 4 installs before it worked. have to program printer to the router and password then it works Great . You can print from anywhere to your home printer. plus the toner will not dry up like ink you can save money if you do not print a lot. Color photos look great but not as glossy as ink. overall very satisfied with this printer. April 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice printer The directions to get it set up and running were easy to follow. I also updated the firmware on the printer as a general principle, and that was easy to do as well. Overall, it seems to be a nice printer. April 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Setup was easy and quality is very good I was looking for a low cost laser color printer for my consulting work. I liked the reviews on this product and ordered it from HP directly which offered the lowest price. Came in a week; followed the instructions to remove all the blocking tapes and cardboards. Then just turned it on. Since I was using a Mac, this set up turned out to be just a plug-n-play and didn't have to download anything. April 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quiet, Easy Set-up, & Quality Printing I wanted to get a laser printer since my ink jet always seemed to be out of ink when I needed it despite very light use. I read the very positive reviews on this printer and ordered from the HP website. The price was very good and delivery quick. It's a little bigger and heavier than I expected, but wireless set up was simple and the printing is excellent so far. The unit is also very quiet while printing and silent when not in use (unlike other printers I've read about). The eprint function is also pretty cool. I've only had it a few weeks and haven't really taxed it yet. Hopefully this printer will continue to perform when needed. April 18, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice print, quiet, good price, Mac unfriendly So far I am happy with the quality of the print. It seems crisp, clear and colors are great. The printer itself is pretty simple; not really too much in the area of features. One that I particularly was interested in was the duplex (albeit manual) option. I have used printers in the past with a manual option and found it satisfactory. I would send it to print and it would print one side, tell me how to move and orient the paper for the second pass, then print the other. With this printer it performs this process well in Windows, but there is no such option for my Mac. So far the only solution is for me to send it to print once selecting only odd pages, then send it to print again selecting only even pages, after reloading the paper. Although this is a solution it is not nearly as user friendly. It is more steps and requires different selections each time, and requires I check to see in a preview if I have more than 1 page or not. Since the Windows driver works this way it would be nice if the Mac driver was more or less the same. April 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great printer! I love this printer! It was easy to set up my laptop, ipad, and smart phone. The print quality is excellent. I tried printing some photos on glossy paper, but realized afterwards that the paper was for inkjet printers...it made kind of a mess. I thought I had ruined the printer, but I did the "cleaning" mode, and it's fine now. I'm going to get some glossy paper for laser printers and try it this weekend. I have seen reviews that say to change the printer settings so that it gets hotter for glossy paper. I'll give it a try and get back to you with how it goes. Thanks HP!! April 12, 2013
