Customer ratings and reviews for HP Pavilion 10z Touch Laptop

Rated 1 out of 5 by Awful It is only three months old and it is slower than my other laptop that is literally four years old. It is a piece of junk. September 7, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by This has great features, except--- Too bad, Hp does NOT find it necessary to include an operation booklet with computer, everyone is NOT high tech...the computer is slow in response...over all it is a nice computer if you over look my complaints...I would not recommend to anyone my age 75, a person MUST be high tech September 5, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by cheap but slow excellent price at $250, complete with Win 8.1. features and memory ample, with a nice screen and chicklets style keyboard, but the palm rest area is too cramped. (I keep inadvertently touching control keys, which should NOT be on the bottom for that reason.) performance is degraded (slow!), perhaps by too many background processes, especially McAfee scanning constantly interrupting. launching apps is slow, maybe due to RAM (2GB) being too small to run Win 8.1 well. not being able to use apps like "Mail" without first signing up for an MS account is annoying, and couple that with HP having their own separate account to sign up for. September 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Not bad for it's price For the price, the performance isn't so bad. I recommend cleaning out a few programs to get optimal performance with windows 8, and if you really want to tweak it's speed, I'd look up software that boosts performance. Does what it needs to do, plays videos fine, and is just a nice computer overall. August 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice compact laptop After many years of reliable use, it was time to replace my former HP Pavillion laptop. I decided on this 10" model and am very satisfied. I purchased an HP external dvd drive to meet my needs, and the drive works fine. The laptop is quiet, light, and affordable. I am still getting used to Windows 8. I own a HP printer, copier, and my wife's laptop is HP. Satisfied with all. August 9, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by horrible I just purchased this laptop 4 days ago. straight out of the box it had a horrible lag. im not able to type fast at all!! its just very very slow. a new computer should run like its new not like I had it for a few years. I had also got a message about it being at high risk?! its 4 days old I just don't understand. I just do not recommend this computer to anyone at all. August 4, 2014
