I'm so happy that I purchased this HP Pavillion15t-n200! No negatives to report. All good so far with great features, perfect size to use at a desk but then not too big that you can't carry around easily for travel.

I bought this machine to replace an older machine running XP. While jt's only been a couple of weeks since I received my machine, so far this machine has met my expectations. Good speed, clear screen and has run like a top. The only drawback, as is with most new machines, is that you have constant inflow of software update downloadeds. Good machine, good price and most importantly, I was able to get it with Windows 7.

This is my 5th laptop/netbook since such products became generally available to the public. This is my second HP and it replaced an HP Pavillion dv9000 that I purchased in Dec 06. That one had XP as its OS and I suppose I got my money's worth out of it for 7.5 years but wish it made more sense to upgrade it instead. This was my first time ordering direct from HP and I was strongly motivated by the availability of Windows 7 on a laptop that had what I needed. I am and have been taking several online and online-augmented science courses. So my work is mostly word processing, spreadsheets, etextbook viewing, internet research and use of supplemental CD programs such as interactive anatomy plates. So having a cd/dvd player/burner was important to me. I am not a gamer, so no need for that capability. I actually use this product more as a desktop and use the HDMI port to connect to a separate 22 inch monitor. I use the wireless keyboard and mouse that I had from the docking station for my dv9000. It all works perfectly and I am thoroughly pleased. The computer worked fine right out of the box and I easily loaded Office 2013 which I also purchased from HP online. I have been using it steadily for the past 5 days with no problems. I concur with other online assessments that the integral touch pad buttons require too much pressure to activate. HP needs to address this in future products. I prefer using a mouse, so this does not bother me, but would drive me crazy if the touchpad was my only option. Adapting to Windows 7 from XP has been relatively easy and I am so glad I was able to bypass the Windows 8 and 8.1 mess that I have read about online. Kudos to HP for responding to customer needs by providing Windows 7. I feel like I dodged a bullet as I could not find a single computer for sale in my usual brick and mortar haunts that did not have Windows 8/8.1. Transitioning to a new computer has always seemed painful to me in the past, but this upgrade was a breeze and you can label me a "happy camper"!

This is my backup to my HP desktop.
Windows 7 ...if it ain't broke why fix it!
Easy to operate plus TECH Support from HP is wonderful.
I was given a old laptop 5 years ago and it worked for 24 months..I like the idea of being online other then in one place at home. So I did my homework and decided on HP notebook 15T-n200 . windows7 with dvd player.
I use a wireless mouse. Everybodies buying tablets however I'm living in the past. So happy I DIDN'T MAKE A MISTAKE!
The battery operates about 4 hours then I plug it in(but I don't have it turned on always so four hours lasts me all day..its then I plug it in and recharge the battery to 100%..that takes a few hours. When its recharging its then I operate it with it plugged into the outlet till it recharges to 100%. I operate this notebook with a 4 cell battery.. ..I bring it down to 15% before I plug it in to electric outlet. My old laptop the power cord was huge like a brick..the power cord on this unit is the size of a roll of US quarters..3" x 1"..it does the job of recharging the unit just fine.
I received the laptop on April 28 2014 Monday...Because it has window7 it had to be ordered and I received it two weeks later. However before I received it I was reading great reviews regarding this product but after I received It I started reading poor reviews. LUCKY ME BECAUSE this product is a 5stars unit . Just do your homework and go to stores and check out the products.Or maybe a friend or relative has a HP product they can suggest..
Read the reviews before you buy ...whats great if you don't like a unit or you get a unit that has a problem you have a couple of weeks to send it back for an exchange or maybe a full refund, So thats the #1 reason I purchased this unit from HP.COM
I had this unit for 22 days. G O O D L U C K.... Y E S I'M T A L K I N T O Y O U!

I have been extremely unhappy with computer's made from this company. I got this type of laptop as a free replacement for my first HP after the company sent me back my computer in an awful condition from a "repair". Now, this computer is basically falling apart because the cheap plastic it's made with is bad quality. It started when the plastic casing around the screen began splitting apart on one side of the computer. Eventually it began to spread around the entire screen. Now, the hinges have broken and soon as the top of the laptop separated from the keyboard the screen started blacking out. It should be note that my laptop was never dropped and the separation started on its own. I sent it in for repairs and after finally getting it back, I've noticed that the new screen top they replaced the old one with has the exact same problem. The plastic casing is splitting away from each other near the camera and one of the hinges is cracked. I have to send my computer in for a second time to get repaired. I'm am beyond livid that I got this piece of plastic junk and DO NOT recommend anyone spend their hard earned cash on something so cheaply made. You'd be better off dishing out a few hundred more dollars for a better quality computer because you'll probably end up spending the same price to fix your broken HP computer.
