Rated 2 out of 5 by misleading Like most insurance policy, we buy them and hope we will not need them. But usually when we buy a policy that is listed as 2 years, the duration is 2 years. The HP accidental damage listed for 2 years is actually only a 1 year policy. This is confusing, especially since the original 1 year product warranty does not cover accidental damage. If I had to do it over again I would not buy this policy, although the product seems OK. February 11, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad notebook and bad service As so many others said this warranty is too costly compares to the laptop price. HP products are poorly made. Worse yet is they absolutely do not stand behind the product to repair damage caused by poor design. November 8, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by One year warranty only valid for 3 months! I bought my new HP Pavilion in late September 2013. Checking what the HP warranty was I just found out that my warranty started the clock on November 26, 2012?!?! That's 10 months before I even purchased my new computer! I only have 3 months for what is supposed to be a 1-year warranty. Not worth it to even consider extending the warranty through HP. My computer still works fine so far -- I am grateful for that.
