Customer ratings and reviews for HP Slate 7 Extreme Advanced Cover

Rated 1 out of 5 by Garbage! The HP Slate 7 Extreme Advanced Covers are garbage so I sent them back. The covers they sent are one side flip over. They don't protect the 7 Extreme at all. The edge of the cover is inserted in the table on the side and is made of an extremely thin piece of plastic that is the diameter of pencil lead and it is extremely flimsily. The cover board part of it, can only cover one side at a time. I thought I was getting something like a cover I already had from HP. It is HP Slate 7 Extreme Stand Case part no. F3G91AA. I have 5 HP Slate 7 Extreme Tablets MODEL (4400) and no cover for them. HP seriously under estimated how many cases to have manufactured and no replacements are available for warranty purposes no. 745321-001. I buy about 30 computers and devices a year and I will not buy from HP for a while. September 16, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by not good had to sand down pin that connects it to tablet & still sticks out alittle , does not support tablet at angles ( falls/slides down ) does not protect sides or back (has no sides or back) August 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Figured I'd take a chance As someone who has the stand case, I wanted to look for different options for the Slate 7 Extreme. The stand case isn't bad but has some issues. The Advanced Cover has very little information and I had to rely on a couple of Korean YouTube videos to get an understanding of how the case works. On the left side of the S7E (in portrait orientation), there's a strip of plastic that sits in a groove. I didn't notice when I first got the tablet a few months ago. The strip comes out, and the cover slides into this groove. There is are magnets in the corners of the cover that control the screen. Close the cover and it sleeps. Open it, and it wakes. The multiple angles are achieved in conjunction with the magnet on the back of the tablet. You can stand it up along the hinge of the cover, or you can flip it around and have a lower typing-friendly angle. It doesn't seem possible to stand the tablet up in portrait orientation, but that's not that important for my needs. The major downside is that the entire back of the tablet is exposed, unless you fold the cover back, in which case the back is protected when the screen is uncovered. The biggest upside is that the cover doesn't add a lot to the tablet's thickness. The hinge doesn't add too much either. Unfortunately, I got it right before HP lowered the price. It's a good deal at $20. August 3, 2014
