Customer ratings and reviews for HP H7000 Black Bluetooth Wireless Headset

Rated 1 out of 5 by Not as good as I expected I can't recommend a product that I know isn't very good. It is easy to set up (unlike another headset I tried from HP) and that's it. It's advertised range is 33 ft. It's more like 13 feet, and then it starts making static noise. The range is okay up to about 10 ft. so, you can expect to keep your laptop close. The sound isn't very good either, but it's a little better than my laptop. I should have gone to an electronics store and try out different brands. July 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by It could use better instructions but works great. It took quite a while to figure out how to use this and for it to work. In fact it was a previous review that showed me the way....and once I got it working, I am very pleased with the quality of the sound and its overall functionality. July 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice Quality Sound! These headphones are amazing. The sound is just as good as my sisters bose corded headphones. The microphone works great. The quality is what stands out. These headphones are really built well. I am very pleased with these headphones. July 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pure Sound A small learning curve and off to the races! Once I worked out pairing it (a snap if I'd read the directions first *L*) it was time for Pure Sound.. just a pleasure to wear and a joy to hear. Now all I have to do is find a dongle so can hook in my TV set. June 20, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by I can't get it to Pair up tried several times to get this headset to pair up with my Galaxy 3 and 4. No Luck June 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product, poor instructions The 'phones work fine, once you pair them properly. Unfortunately, the operating instructions for all functions (including telephone calling) are only six lines of text, (albeit in many languages), so you have to read between the lines or have some patience for trial-and-error. I succeeded in pairing them to my HP Omni 10 tablet after 3 or 4 tries. I won't bother pairing them to my i-phone, as I have other options there. Turning them on requires you to hold down the single, multifunction control button for 3 seconds, but you need to hold it down for about 8 seconds to pair them to a bluetooth device. Unfortunately, you can't always tell whether you've just turned them on, or activated pairing. The instructions fail to mention that an audible tone tells you when they are switched on and again when switched off -- you have to figure that out for yourself. Only on the box do you learn the capacity of the rechargeable battery (claims to last 8 hours on one charge), and there's no way to monitor battery life or charge status. The product comes with pages and pages of regulatory and warranty trivia -- why can't they devote a few more column inches to practical operating tips? June 7, 2014
